About my teaching
I have been teaching since 2006 and children just bring me so much joy. I have had incredibly rich teaching and learning experiences working in Otara and Mangere for most of my career before making my way back to West Auckland. I have always loved working with tamariki as they begin their journey at school and find their place in their new school environment. I believe it is so important for all children who pass through my classroom to feel valued, happy and safe in their learning environment. When a child feels this way they will be able to unlock the tools necessary to be successful at school.
About Me
I have a beautiful, sassy four year old daughter who monopolises most of my time and energy outside of school. I also have five nieces and nephews under six who we spend most of our weekends with. When I do manage some time to myself I enjoy watching sport. I love the league. I will watch any NRL game but obviously my team is the mighty Warriors. My other favourite sport is cricket. I love a good 20/20 or one day international!
