At Don Buck Kura we pride ourselves on making the transition to our school as seamless as possible.
Our school value of Whānaungatanga is very important to us and we want our children to feel valued and have a sense of belonging in our school community. We also strive to maintain a positive partnership with whānau.
COME AND BE APART OF OUR WHĀNAU
To join our wonderful Don Buck community as a New Entrant, you must complete an enrolment form on our website.
To assist with the transition between kindy/daycare we have two intakes per term, one in week 1 and the other in week 5. The reasoning behind this is to enable small groups of children to settle in together.
In week 1 and week 5, children come for school visits Monday to Friday from 9.00 – 11.00 am. Parents are more than welcome to stay for the whole time for the first couple of days to settle their child in, witness what happens in the classroom and meet other parents.
You are more than welcome to come and have a look around and come into the N/E classroom at a time that suits you.
